because of the recent negative coverage of goth culture coming out of the shootings at Dawson College in Montreal, i decided to get in touch with the local newspaper (The Belleville Intelligencer) to see if they were interested in speaking to people from the local scene (tiny as it is) about what happened...
they ended up doing a sit-down interview with me, and apparently a reporter is coming out Sunday night when i'm DJing to take some pictures and do a report for the local paper. hopefully it turns out well, and helps people to see that "goth" does not equate with "heavily armed psycho in a trenchcoat"
hopefully lots of people will come out this Sunday :)
