ICK!
i dunno why i'm updating my journal with a random observation like this...but Burger King poutine is quite possibly the saltiest, most disgusting thing i've EVER had the displeasure of eating. *rinses mouth thoroughly*

it was suggested to me that it's likely not made at the restaurant, but prepared somewhere else and heated there. to which i have to ask - is the 'somewhere else' the DEAD SEA? ewwwwwwwwwww. let's hope that salt was iodized, 'cause if it was i won't have any thyroid problems for the rest of my life.

Let me tell you a little secret I have found out by one of Burger King's employees. Probably former now, but heck. Probably doing the same.

1)Employee makes gravy.
2)Gravy is served to customers througout day
3)Gravy is then covered at end of night shut down
4)New gravy is added to old gravy stirred.
5)New and old gravy are now mixed and served that day.

So essentially you could've been eating parts of gravy made from whenever they washed the bucket thing to today.

I don't know about the color of your burger king gravy but the stuff here is orange. ORANGE! Gravy shouldn't be that color. I had poutine there once, and it was the last time I ever ate anything from Burger King.

Not to mention that they microwave their burgers after they've been sitting. The gravy is orange here too.

lol i guess he forgot to mention it, but he told me in msn that the poutine was orange.

i've eaten poutine at that burger king and it wasn't orange.. it was normal o.O maybe i was lucky and they had just cleaned it and made new gravy. if mine was orange, i'd go to the counter and request a better one.

or just drive all the way over to the quinte mall and have new york fries.
